Local arts and humanities grants, which are so important towards beautifying our environment and deepening our understanding of the human experience, are supported by larger federal grants that are determined by the Census.

These grants come from the National Foundation on the Arts and the Humanities , and trickle down to the State of Iowa and then to Black Hawk County:
